Can beginners go on a Dragonfly Kite Safari?

Absolutely! We offer comprehensive Introductory Courses led by one of our VDWS-certified instructors that will introduce you to kiteboarding, safely and efficiently. Additionally, all of the spots we ride at during a Dragonfly Kite Safari are ideal for learning: waist-deep, warm water, sand bottoms, clean wind, and wide-open spaces.

Can non-kiters go on a Dragonfly Kite Safari?

Definitely! Everyone is welcome! We understand that not everyone in your group or family might be a kiteboarder. For non-kiters, there is ample activities to enjoy each day such as snorkeling, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, relaxing on the beach, or lounging on the yacht.

What if you are traveling solo?

All of the cabins and rates are based upon double occupancy, and if you are traveling solo we will book you into a cabin with another kiter. Want your own space? No problem. Single-occupancy cabins are available for an upgrade fee (when available). You can make your request, by clicking here.

We schedule our kite safaris for peak wind season when there is historically an 80% chance or better of kiteable wind. More often than not, the wind is up, strong and steady, and you’ll be kiting all day, every day. However, in the unlikely event of a down day, we have a variety of recreation options to keep everyone on the water and entertained, including snorkeling, wakeboarding, wake foiling, and stand-up paddleboarding.

What if there are border closures or visa restrictions due to COVID or the Israeli-Hamas conflict?
